LG unveiled the V20 a few weeks back at an event in California and hopes the device will supplant the LG G5 as the company’s flagship after what has turned out to be a flop of a release. However, when the LG V20 was unveiled, there was no information as to when the device would be released or what the cost would be. Now, it seems that B&H Photo has sort of let the cat out of the bag after posting the pre-order page for the V20.
LG V20 Specs:
- 5.7-inch (2560×1440) Display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB Storage w/ MicroSD card support
- 5MP front camera
- 16MP rear camera
- 3,200mAh battery
- USB Type-C
- Android 7.0 Nougat
Although the pre-orders are to begin on October 2nd through B&H, we are still expecting the full release to begin on October 21st for those in the US. That date comes after a confirmation from leaks-extraordinaire @evleaks on Twitter. Unfortunately, the listing page does not mention pricing, but a report from The Korea Times suggests the device will launch in South Korea for an equivalent of about $804. The V20 will also be the first device released running Android 7.0 Nougat, with Google’s Pixel devices expected to be the first devices to include Android 7.1 Nougat.
