Android Pay now supports 44 new banks and credit unions in the US

Android Pay’s list of supported banks and credit unions in the US is getting bulked up today. 44 such institutions have been added. You won’t be seeing many notable names on this last as mostly all of them bigger banks have already added support, but it’s nice to see these local and small-time branches getting some love.

You’ll need the Android Pay app from Google Play to get started, so head there and download it if you’re ready to start paying for stuff with your phone instead of that thin piece of plastic everyone seems eager to ditch.
