The Honor 8 is now available for purchase via Amazon and Honor

A few weeks ago, Honor unveiled its latest flagship, the Honor 8 at an event in California and it blew our socks off. The device features a great build quality and features that us Android nerds want the most (USB Type-C/fingerprint scanner). Plus, the Honor 8 includes an impressive spec sheet and is priced at only $400 which puts it in direct competition with the OnePlus 3.

Honor 8 Specs:

  • 5.2-inch Full HD display
  • Octa-core Kirin 950 Processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 32GB/64GB Storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD
  • Dual 12MP rear-facing cameras
  • 8MP front-facing camera
  • 3,000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities
  • Fingerprint reader
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow w/ Huawei Emotion UI 4.1 overlay

The device has been available for purchase from Honor’s website directly for a little over a week but is now available from other retailers including Best Buy, Amazon, and Newegg. Unfortunately, there seems to be a bit of a hiccup as you can only purchase the white variant unless you’re looking to Best Buy.

Honor announced the device would be available in either Blue, Black, or White, but Best Buy is the only retailer to offer the Sapphire Blue variant, leaving the white for other retailers. Newegg’s website mysteriously states the Midnight Black variant will be coming on September 11th but has the white version in stock today.

The Honor 8 may be one of the best smartphones of 2016, but we want to know if you’re interested in snagging one of these up now that they are officially on the market. Drop us a line below and let us know.
