BlackBerry PRIV beta update brings September security patch

0

The BlackBerry PRIV is getting a new beta patch today. The patch doesn’t contain much unless you consider Android’s September security patch a big deal (which it very much is).

This is good news for those who are holding BlackBerry accountable to their promise of swift and effective actions to keeping your phone secure. Unfortunately, this beta is only going out for those with models from AT&T, Canadian carriers, or the various devices for Asia-Pacific networks.

That said, with September right around the corner, it shouldn’t take long to reach everyone who owns a BlackBerry PRIV. AAG202 and AAG191 are the build numbers to look for if you’re wanting to get your handset updated.
