When rumblings of an Injustice Edition of the Galaxy S7 Edge began gaining some steam, Batman and Samsung fans began getting all excited. Then, when the device was released, it was one of the most exciting devices to be released for fans of great smartphones and one of the greatest superheroes of all time.
Now, it appears that Samsung will be doing the same thing with the Galaxy Note 7 as images have appeared on Weibo showcasing the golden bat sign. The color combination appears to be the same that was featured with the Galaxy S7 Edge, which wouldn’t be surprising because if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The device itself is black, with golden accents, and this theme is also found throughout the software.
There are reports that the Injustice Edition of the Galaxy Note 7 will be the “powerhouse” version complete with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This spec combination will be coming to China, but there are no indications that it will be coming to other parts of the world. It’s also reported that the Injustice Edition will have dual-SIM card support, which also follows up with the China-only version.
Regardless of if or when the Injustice Edition will come to the market, it will more than likely be extremely expensive. The special edition Galaxy S7 Edge was priced over $1,000 and with the current price of the Note 7 already pushing that threshold, an Injustice Edition will likely be out of reach for many.
