With the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Android introduced Game Tools and the Game Launcher. These apps, as you might guess, aim to enhance the gaming experience on Samsung’s phones.

Well, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge owners no longer have all the fun to themselves. Samsung has made both Game Tools and Game Launcher available for those using the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. You can find Game Launcher in the Samsung Apps store, and Game Tools can then be downloaded from within that.

So, what do these 2 apps do? The Game Launcher makes it easy to, well, launch games. It’ll simply list all of the known games on your phone so you won’t have to go pecking for them if they aren’t already organized in folders.

Game Tools is much more involved than that. It’ll let you disable the soft keys during gameplay so you don’t accidentally exit the game, makes it easy to take screenshots, makes it easy to minimize the game to return to it after doing something else, and offers the ability to record your gameplay to share with others.

It’s all really cool stuff and you’ll want to download these apps ASAP if any of these annoyances have hindered your gaming sessions. Be sure to park it here for a closer look at Game Tools in motion.
