Are you going to pre-order a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 today?

0

Today is the day: the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 goes up for pre-sale after being fully unveiled yesterday. Folks on AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile in the US will be able to head online or go in-store to secure a purchase of the device for its August 19th launch date. Those pre-sales may also come with juicy deals to boot, including a free Samsung Gear Fit 2 or a 256GB microSD card (Verizon is the exception: all they’re willing to do is waive your $20 activation fee).

Samsung is expected to ship 12 million units of these things in 4 short months, something that should be helped by the return of a European launch with this iteration. We aren’t expecting to see the device land in Europe until September, but folks in that land will also get to pre-order devices starting today.

So, that leaves one question: are you going to pre-order? If you’ve seen our comparisons, hands-on, and brushed up on everything you need to know then you’ve probably gotten a pretty good idea if you want one by now. Be sure to check those out if you haven’t already, and let us know in the comments ahead if you’re going to be picking one up.
