You can find out Android N’s name by finding the easter egg in Dev Preview 4

Google didn’t make some big announcement about Android N’s name — they sneakily hid it into the Android N Developer Preview 4 easter egg. That easter egg can be accessed by furiously and repeatedly tapping the Android version number in the Settings > About Phone menu.

So, what do we get when we do that?

That’s right: Android N’s name is Namey McNameFace!

By now, you’ve probably figured out that is not the actual name. This was a nice troll by Google in their newfound love for teasing and hinting and agonizingly dangling possibilities of names for Android N in our faces.

We’re laughing it up, Google. But don’t take too long to give us what we want, okay?
