The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition (with LTE) had to take an about face for some “me” time because its display wasn’t up to LG’s standards, but those issues have been resolved and it’s set to make a full debut at some point soon. AT&T is now taking pre-sale orders for the Android Wear watch.
They’re letting the device go for $200 on a two-year contract, though you can also opt to pay its full $360 retail cost upfront or 20 monthly installments of $18.
The LTE-equipped Watch Urbane 2nd Edition is a nice refinement over the original. It features a classic design with a crown dial and 2 physical buttons for various functions. Thanks to AT&T’s NumberSync, you can use your primary phone number with your LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition, even if the phone is turned off.
Alongside its standalone data, the biggest functional change the 2nd Edition Watch Urbane introduced was as 480×480 display, which was the highest mark you could find when it was first announced. Other LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition specs include a Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1.38-inch display, and 570mAh battery. Sound like something you want? You can put your dollars into the pre-order hat right here, with AT&T estimating shipments to start at the end of this month.
