LG G5 will supposedly launch starting April 1st

0

LG only gave us an “early April” expectation for the launch of their next flagship, but we haven’t had any solid dates to cling to. But if Droid-Life’s source is to be believed, we could see the device arrive as soon as April 1st.

The outlet claims pre-sales will go up March 28th before they’re readily available. We’re not sure what this means for other carriers, but we imagine if US Cellular is getting the phone that date then some of the major carriers should have it just as soon.

US Cellular’s LG G5 will supposedly cost $636 outright (which can be split up between 24 monthly payments) or $199 with a 2-year contract, and early buyers will get an extra battery, a cradle to charge that battery and a USB Type-C cable to go along with everything that comes standard in the box. Doesn’t sound bad at all, but we’ll have to wait until later this month to see if these plans hold true.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.
