Call forwarding on Project Fi stopped working? Here’s an easy fix, and Google is on the case

0

It looks like some issues with Project Fi have spawned over the past week. Users are reporting that call forwarding has ceased working. To be clear, calls to the original device with the Project Fi SIM get through just fine, but other tablets or phones associated with the account and setup for call forwarding seem to get deleted for some unknown reason.

Two things:

  1. Google is on the fix.
  2. The current workaround is easy: simply re-add the phones or tablets which inadvertently got deleted from your call forwarding options.

We’re not sure how long it will take for a proper fix to arrive, but we’re sure Google won’t be resting on their laurels and taking their sweet time to get it out. Use the workaround in the meantime if you’re unfortunate enough to be affected by the issue.
