OnePlus gets their infamous hype train rolling again with latest OnePlus X teaser


A new OnePlus device is on the way October 29th, so let the hype train start rolling. OnePlus has taken to Twitter to throw up a couple of teasers for us to sink our teeth into. One of the teasers shows a rather uninspiring gray wallpaper with the text “beauty in the making” and #PowerfullyBeautiful front and center.

The one they posted for their London event is a lot more telling. An array of fluorescent lights are arranged like an X:


Surely they’re referring to the OnePlus X, a $250 smartphone that could have been considered a flagship by yesteryear’s standards. We’re expecting to see a device with a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 801 chipset, fingerprint scanner and maybe even NFC by the time it’s all said and done.

But, of course, we won’t know what they’re doing for sure until they’ve made it all official. Circle October 29th on your calendar if you’re curious, and circle back here as we’ll be breaking it all down for you.
