In less than a hour we will be officially introduced to the LG G4. We’ve got Rob and Kevin on the ground in New York to get up close and personal with the new device. LG has already revealed a lot about the G4. We know it will come in a variety of leather options. It will have a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. The camera will be 16MP with a f/1.8 aperture. We even know what the software will look like.
The G4 will also most likely have a removable battery and expandable storage, which will appeal to disgruntled Samsung fans. Other rumored specs include 3GB of RAM, 3,000 mAh battery, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 or 810. Going into the event we know a lot, but hopefully LG surprises us with a few things. cant wait!!! crazy how many sites have multiple days listed as the date for this event! I’ve read tomorrow at 11, today at 4, tomorrow at 4, YESTERDAY at 11. Craziness. cant wait to see, the G4 might be my next device!
Even worse is many still propagate the wrong Asian launch as like May 31 when it is in fact tomorrow.

Didn’t care for the display of the G3, & while I’ve had a short term memory of phones flaws in the past,there’s no way I’d even consider getting the G4 on pre-order.
If LG is indeed partnered w/ Cheetah Mobile & has their crapware baked-in,it’s a definite No-Go.
I’m interested in the quantum dot tech in the display. Want to see how it affects battery life and such. Also interested to see how photos compare to the other flagships.

I have been watching the entire time
Watched the entire show. Still as pumped as ever! Only unanswered questions for me were (1) price (2) USA release… they did not cover any price or release in the show.
no price
no release date
no mention of wireless charging
no mention of sd card size limits
no mention of colors of leather available on release or can i swap a leather back for a plastic back
and fyi……..sames size battery as my g3
all in all i will probably buy it
