Ever since I flipped open my first phone I've been obsessed with the devices. I've dabbled in other platforms, but Android is where I feel most at home.

  1. I got my Verizon S6 today. I absolutely love it. My only issue is that the option to turn off the backlight of the capacitive keys is no longer an option.

    1. Did you get it from the verizon store or did you pre order it?

      1. I preordered it, and paid for priority overnight shipping.

        1. gotcha… I’m going to go into the store saturday… I hope they will have it

          1. It’s very nice. I like lollipop on it better than the lollipop update for my Note 4. I am annoyed that I can’t turn off the capacitive key backlights, but hopefully a fix will come along for that. I don’t know why they took that option away. Chrome is the default browser, the Samsung browser is not even on it. The Microsoft apps we heard so much about are not present on the Verizon variant…thankfully!

          2. Good to know… kind of nervous as I am coming from Moto’s stock android skin. I didn’t really like TW before, but a lot of people are saying that it has become much better

          3. If you put Nova Launcher on it and customize it to your liking, you will barely realize that TW is on the phone. Everything is very lollipoped up. I think you’ll be fine.

  2. Periscope reminds me of when they used to air “Big Brother After Dark”, which was live video from the Big Brother house for several hours every night. It’s pretty much people sitting around, reading, running on the treadmill, etc. It’s just boring as hell. It just shows how necessary the games and editing are to make reality shows interesting.
