pay with opentable

OpenTable has been a fine app for making reservations and helping enhance your dining experience, and it got even better when they revealed Pay with OpenTable for iOS. Android users have been left out of the fun to this point, but the update is finally here: you can now pay for your meal with the same app you use to make your reservation.

Your bill will pop up at the end of your meal and you’ll easily be able to pay with your phone using your credit card. No having to wait for a waiter to drop a check, pick it up, take it for processing and bring it back, a process that can take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes on a busy night.

Just arrive, eat, pay, and go. The way life should be. Check here to see which restaurants near you support the feature, and be sure to grab the upgrade from Google Play right here as soon as you can!

  1. this is not a bad idea at all….I actually used opentable a few times and find it pretty useful, but limited at the same time.

  2. Nice application but limited to large cities / metropolitan areas. I have used it in Savannah but nothing in my area of the woods.

  3. I don’t see anything about leaving a tip. Sometimes I don’t have ca$h on me. I’m always reluctant about leaving an electronic tip, though. I’ve heard stories that when you leave an electronic tip, the waiter/waitress that served you doesn’t see it.

    1. What happens a lot is that it gets pooled, so they may not see it all, but they’ll see part of it.
