Best Galaxy Note 4 Cases

Slim and Sleek

The Note 4 is already a big phone, why make it even bigger with a bulky case? There are several options available for folks looking for a slim-fit that still offer plenty of protection, our favorite being Spigen’s Slim Armor case [$18], which includes a fold-out kickstand. Here are a couple more to ponder:

Total Protection

If you want protection from the most rugged elements, you’ll need a case that’s up to the task. The SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro [$20] offers several desirable features, including a built-in screen protector, shock-absorbing design, port covers for everything including the S Pen, and a belt holster mount. Also consider:

Folio & Wallet

For added style points plus convenience, you can’t beat a nice folio like the i-Blason Slim Leather Wallet Book Cover [$15]. It offers protection for your device’s display when not in use and features room to store credit cards, cash, and more. If you are looking for a more rugged folio-style option, check out Urban Armor Gear’s rugged Scout Folio [$35].

Best Galaxy Note 4 Chargers

Note 4 Wireless Charging

The Note 4 does not come ready for wireless charging out of the box, but Samsung sells an official Wireless Charging Qi Cover [$35] that snaps on in replacement of the standard battery cover.

For a wireless charging pad, you could go with the inexpensive Anker Ultra Slim Wireless Charging Pad [$22] if you are looking to save a few dollars. For our money, though, you can’t go wrong with the TYLT Vu [$70]. It acts as a more functional dock and features sharp lines that will look great on any desk or bedside table.

Portable Power

When it comes to power on the go, we’re huge fans of Incipio’s offGRID series [$49+]. These battery packs are built to last and offer up to 8000mAh of backup power with many options featuring dual charging capabilities. For even more power plus the ability to charge using only the sun’s natural energy, you might consider the 20,000mAh ZeroLemon SolarJuice [$80].

Extra Chargers for the Car and Office

If you like to keep extra chargers handy in the car or at the office, it’s important to note that in order to take advantage of the fast charging capabilities of the Note 4 you will need to use a compatible charger. For best results, that would be Samsung’s official Adaptive Fast Charging Wall Charger [$35].

The Note 4 should, however, work with any charging device compatible with Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 2.0 standard. For the car we like Incipio’s Quick Charge 2.0 Car Charger [$21]. For the home or office

Best Galaxy Note 4 Screen Protectors

The Galaxy Note 4 already features a durable layer of protective Gorilla Glass 4 to keep its brilliant Super AMOLED display safe. Gorilla Glass 4 is one of the most advanced screen protection technologies on the market, but if you want added insurance when it comes to scratches you can always throw on a screen protector.

The two options are plastic, in which case we recommend Spigen’s Crystal series screen protector [$10], or tempered glass, where Skinomi’s Tech Glass [$10] emerges as a favorite. Tempered glass will be thicker than plastic, but functionality should remain virtually identical.

Best Galaxy Note 4 Car Mount

Given the Note 4’s size, finding a sturdy car mount that can support it’s width is key if you want to go hands-free on the road. You of course can’t go wrong with Samsung’s official Universal Suction Car Mount [$30], but we also like the Osomount 360 Grip Mount [$20] as a third-party option. It will mount on any flat surface and offers 360 degrees of rotation for your device.

For an inexpensive option that can double as a dock when mounted on a desk, we recommend the iOttie Easy View 2 [$15]. It is one of the few mounts that offers color options to match to your own personal style.

Best Galaxy Note 4 Headphones

A good pair of headphones to pair with your Galaxy Note 4 or any smartphone should at a minimum offer two things: 1) great sound quality and 2) a built-in mic for hands-free calls. Inline audio playback controls are also a plus for controlling music while the phone is stowed in a pocket.

When it comes to in-ear options, we like the Audio Technica Sonic Fuel ATH-CKX9iS. These headphones meet all the above requirements and feature a tangle-free cable and hard case for storage. The $90 price tag is well worth it. For a slightly cheaper option, The Klipsch Image S4A in-ear headphones retail for around $75 and offer a very similar feature set.

If you seek the added comfort and improved sound quality of over-ear headphones, you can’t go wrong with the Audio Technica Sonic Fuel ATH-AX5iS. Affordable at about $90 while still offering superb sound quality, included controls and inline mic are tailored specifically for smartphone use.

  1. I have my Note 4 in an Otterbox defender. Yes, it adds quite a bit of bulk, but I am willing to live with that if it means that I don’t have to worry about my precious device not being protected the best I can.
I must say, I removed the built-in screen protector though. That thing is a disgrace. It’s good when using your fingers, but with the S Pen, it just has too much friction. So much so that it is no longer a joy to use the pen. I removed it and added a tempered glass protector to my device. It works perfectly with the otterbox defender.

  2. I’m looking for a rather specific accessory. I carry my Note 4 in a belt holster with a stand case. Even with power saving on, my battery runs down pretty fast. I want to switch to a charger case, but still retain the holster. I’ve been unable to find a holster/charge case combo. Is there anything in the market like this?

  3. You guys should always consider UAG cases. Great products

    1. yeah!

  4. There is a car mount on Amazon that attaches to your CD player, sets the phone below the dashboard horizon, and holds the phone with a magnet. It comes with a paper thin metal sheet you stick 7 Der the battery cover and works great.

    1. Link? ;>_>

  5. I even found one a quick charge 2.0 charger for my Galaxy Note 4 so that I can charge my device even on the go. I purchased it from Amazon http://goo.gl/sNoUJq
