[Update]: And it looks like Sprint went ahead and pulled the trigger a bit early. The company has started rolling the Android 5.0 Lollipop update out to the HTC One M8 much sooner than we thought. It’s the same spiel as always — rolling out in stages, and it’s best if you’re on WiFi with a battery charged to at least 50% before applying the upgrade. Head to Settings > About Phone to see if you can pull it down, and you’ll be looking for version 4.20.651.10. Let’s hope the LG G3 comes along just as soon.

Sprint’s been on a pretty good pace when it comes to delivering Android 5.0 Lollipop to their customers. The Samsung Galaxy S5 and the HTC One (M7) have already received their upgrades, so what about other popular devices such as the LG G3 and HTC One M8?
Thanks to a newly-leaked timeline, we know it probably won’t be long. Sprint is reportedly scheduled to deliver Lollipop to the HTC One M8 starting February 13th, while the LG G3 will follow that just 3 days later on the 16th.
As usual, the updates are expected to go out in waves so not everyone will receive it on that exact day (though we’re sure manual installation methods will be cooked up quite fast). So relax, enjoy your weekend and know that it won’t be long before you’re able to join everyone else lucky enough to receive Lollipop to this point.
Any word when the One Max get there updates?
One Max is probably an unwanted child from hTC now… lol
Last schedule leak I saw from HTC said March for international, along with the Desire 816, One M8 Mini and others. The leak has been kinda right, so take it with a little salt.
thanks man
G3 is just getting its update on Sprint? I guess more G2 wont get it until April. Ugh Been waiting for that to root.
About frigging time. Tired of switching btwn stock and AOSP based ROMs.
You got the sprint g3? And keep going back from AOSP lollipop back to stock based? If so I’m in the same boat on at&t. You ever come across a blue screen kernel panic
@InfdaMarvel, Yup I got the Sprint aka the worst G3. The stock based ROMs are few and far btwn. No Viper, no Cloudy, but using Xposed makes KitKat as customizable as can be. The AOSP Lollipop ROMs are pretty slick, minus the annoying bugs… Low volume, distorted volume on Bluetooth, inability to use LG based apps. But there’s this new mod called Layers that a lot of AOSP ROMs are starting to use, which is cool as hell. Its like the CM theme engine on steroids
woow, this is good news for M8 user. i can’t wait to try Lollipop
android tips
Anyone get the update? Nothing here in Mobile AL…
