There’s nothing like free money (even if that money can only be spent on apps and games from Amazon’s Appstore). Amazon is giving folks 1,000 Amazon Coins — that’s $10 — to download the following games and apps for free:

  • iHeartRadio
  • Strawberry Shortcake Bake Shop
  • Don’t Step the White Tile
  • Food Network in the Kitchen
  • Dr. Panda’s Restaurant

All of which can be accessed on this handy page right here. After you’ve redeemed your 1,000 coins you can buy any premium app or game you want from the Amazon Appstore — we recommend one of the Grand Theft Auto games if you haven’t already given those a go. Be fast, as this promotion will only last until the end of this month.

  1. Thanks for the heads up Quentyn! And just an fyi for everyone, you don’t actually have to install the app to get the coins. Just download, then hit cancel at the app permissions screen.

Tip: Use 700 of the coins earned to buy Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, and you will earn another 2000 coins!

  2. Done deal, picked up Monument Valley and Ridiculous Fishing.

  3. HINT: Use 699 of the 1000 free coins you just got from these to purchase GTA San Andreas between now and 6/11/14 and you get 2000 free coins. That will leave you with 2301 coins total!!!!

Just a suggestion…. Oh and if you “buy” these apps from a computer and not your phone, you don’t even have to wait for them to download! You just buy them from your computer and then download them from your Apps list on your phone, if you want to…..

    1. Awesome, thank you for the tip!

    2. why did you mark my post as spam, i just said thanks…

  4. Can these coins be used on more than just apps?

    1. Not that I’m aware of unfortunately..

    2. Only Apps and in-app purchases.

  5. Looks like San Andreas is only available for the Kindle as far as I can tell. Doesn’t show up on any of my devices, and the computer only shows the Kindle version. I guess it is still a decent enough deal just to get the 2000 coins, but it is lame about the apps compatibility.

    1. Not sure why my other two posts were deleted…? I don’t think this statement is offensive, but if it violates something please let me know what i am doing wrong, rather than just deleting my responses, please.

  6. Is it just me or does this one not show up anywhere to purchase? “Don’t Step the White Tile”

    1. Not just you…

  8. I got the coins, now to figure out what games to get…

I mostly just “purchase” the FAOTD app and then cancel the install. I think I have one app from Amazon installed on my tablet and none on my other devices.

    1. I don’t know if you did this with the last deal with amazon coins, but you can go buy grand theft auto: san andreas and get 2000 more coins that way. (you spend around 750 coins to get 2000 coins).

      1. Thanks. Game cost 699 coins, but you get 2000 coins back. Sadly the app isnt compatible with any of my devices, but 1301 free coins I had to “buy” it.

  9. Thaaaat’s why I could never find iheartradio in the Play Store! It’s only available for US.

  10. “download the following games and apps for free:
    – iHeartRadio”
