Although it was made official back during CES in January, neither AT&T nor ASUS is quite ready to reveal exactly when the upcoming ASUS PadFone X will be available for purchase. By now, we’ve all seen the specs. We’ve all see what the smartphone/tablet hybrid can do (and seriously, we love it).
But what you probably didn’t know is that the unique Android device can up your pickup game to 1,000. Don’t believe us? Just check out the new ad spot uploaded to AT&T’s (and strangely, not ASUS’) YouTube account earlier today. So wonderfully awkward, you’ll wonder how this thing ever left the cutting room floor. That poor, poor girl… Video below.
Oh yeah, you can also “get the business” with the ASUS PadFone X as well.
[AT&T]
There is too many things wrong with this…. Those rendered screen shots looks too fake, and it doesn’t even follow the movement of the phone correctly.
And that ending. I don’t even know mayn.
I just don’t get it. Why would any company come out and say their product will help someone pick up chicks? Sure, there are those ads that hint at sex appeal, but this one literally comes out and says “we’ll help you get the girl.” Lol
It’s as if AT&T and Asus couldn’t figure out a better reason on why to get the Padphone. It doesn’t make them look good at all.
They’re clearly out of touch and showing how inept they are. The presentation for the phone was amateur, they can’t play with the big boys in this market. Today you look at ASUS and think, “Aw, that’s cute…”
I would guess they are trying to get it to go viral.
Not the greatest but not worse than many other cheesy commercials on TV !!!…I’ve fallen and can’t get up….Doesn’t deserve a page on your website.
But she is SO happy after seeing that is 5″ can grow into a 10″.
Its 9″, let’s not round up >.>
“I’m a grower not a shower”
That commercial is almost as bad as the bezzel on that thing(tablet). Seriously if their was a competition on bezel size, they just beat Sony.
Dat tablet bezel!
Didn’t they have a stylus that you could use as the phone when in tablet mode? Maybe it was a different manufacturer.
That chick’s kinda hot and not all at the same time.
That’s because she’s not hot, but she’s not fat either. In this day it is sad to say that there are so few chicks that aren’t fat that the slim ones *all* start to look attractive… …even when they are not.
I find myself incredibly curious as to what exactly is being said during all of that.
“Oh hey, I see you like dogs.”
“Yeah”
“Let me show you this picture I have… See, that’s a dog.”
“..yeah.”
“I can see your bored. Hold on a sec.. See, dog! Also this is me hitting on you.”
“Oh! okay..”
They need to drop the padfone and whoever came up with this advertisement.
HI!
Two months ago you said
“If you want proof, go and look at the 3dmark benchmarks, it’s available
for both Android and iOS and supports 64bit and the devices with
Snapdragon 800 still beat the iPhone 5s.”
Turns out you were wrong.

WTF does this have to do with the Padfone?
I thought they had done away with that dumb idea.
ummm, it would be nicer if the embedded video played in Chrome? Had to switch to ie to see….it’s a dog!!!
So is the phone totally functional when in the pad, or do you just use it to make one picture bigger?
