It wouldn’t be the holiday season without great deals on the Google Play Store, would it? Google made sure this holiday season didn’t go without any cheer with deals on free movies, TV shows, apps, games, books, magazines and more for you to sink your teeth into while you enjoy some time off this week and next.

The full list of games and apps is large, so you’ll want to head over to the Google Play Store to check them all out. A few of the highlights include Monopoly Bingo, Tetris Blitz, Asphalt 8, True Blood pilot, and a whole lot more. Don’t take it all in too fast!

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  2. It’s the pilot episode of True Blood. I highly recommend watching it if you haven’t. The first scene in the convenience store is awesome, a great way to kick off the series.

  3. These games are all already free…

  4. Asphalt 8 is unplayable on Galaxy SIII running 4.3 It downloads fine, but crashes anytime you try to open it.

  5. I remember a few years ago Google had discounts on different sets of apps each day in the days leading up to Christmas, and there were actually some interesting things there. But in the years since then, their Christmas deals have been really lame.

  6. Some free books and a few more free episodes would have been super nice. Ah, well. Their sales are mostly lame too.

  7. All crap titles except for Asphalt 8

  8. I for one appreciate this, Google doesn’t have to give away anything. Thank you Google.

    1. Thats the thing, they arent actually giving anything away. They just stuck a bunch of already free apps onto a page listed as sales and people are happy thinking its a gift.

      1. go look in the music section, they are giving away dozens of songs, and have been for the last few weeks

        1. They always give away single songs, year round that is nothing new. They are called demo tracks to try and get you to buy the albums.

  9. One word…LAME……..

    amazon just win my heart

  10. Nice to see so many ungrateful comments during Christmas. You could you know just not buy anything and move on. Hope your parents bought you a nice gift. Would hate to see your reaction if the gift sucked.

    1. It is not so much ungrateful as confused as why they bothered to gather a bunch of free stuff on a page and call it a sale as if they were actually giving something away. They didn’t have to give away anything that is true, and they didn’t. But there is no reason for them to have paraded around as if they were when they are not..

  11. is the link working?

    1. It is not working for me.

  12. Title is a bit misleading but thanks anyway to Google, you didnt have to give anything away but you chose to. Amazon also has some great free stuff and discounts right now. Got to love Android for letting you purchase and use apps from anywhere. Got office pro from amazon for 90% off.

  13. The full list of games and apps is large, so you’ll want to head over to the Google Play Store to check them all out.
