Just a quick heads up for those of you getting your last minute Christmas gift from the Google Play Store: you’ll have until noon today (in your respective timezone) to order it and get it by December 24th. There are a couple of things you’ll want to remember:
- This doesn’t mean you’ll be SoL for Christmas shipment if you place an order a bit later than the cut-off time, but Google won’t be making any promises.
- The guarantee is subject to availability, so ordering something that doesn’t leave the warehouse for a few weeks (like the 16GB Nexus 5) will obviously get you your item well after Christmas.
Whether it’s an accessory, a phone, a tablet, or a Chromecast, all of it can be found in the Google Play Store. Get over there and grab whatever you need before it’s too late.

From what I see on the play store, you may want to mention that you’ll have to buy a 32GB Nexus 5 if you want it before Christmas. Otherwise, it’s 1-2 weeks until they ship.
I sort of mentioned that in the article. It’s in the second bulletpoint:
