Get a refurbished Galaxy S4 for AT&T for just $30

If you’re an  AT&T user and you’ve been in the market for a Samsung Galaxy S4, you’ll want to check out the deal Ma Bell is putting up. If you can stand to deal with a refurbished phone, AT&T is letting the Samsung Galaxy S4 go away for just a mere $30 (that’s following a new two-year contract agreement, of course). While some may be taken aback by the word “refurbished,” it’s not always as bad as it may sound.

More often than not, refurbished items tend to be open box merchandise customers decide they don’t want. If the device was broken in a previous life, you’ll be relieved to know the repair process is usually solid enough to be confident in knowing your phone won’t fall apart on you within those two years (and, if it does, you can just get it repaired as long as you have insurance). Couple that with the fact that AT&T is listing these things as like-new, getting a refurbished Galaxy S4 might be a safe bet.

Beyond any concerns of reliability, there isn’t much else to fear. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is a great phone, and if you’ve seen our review you’ll know exactly why. If you’re convinced, head over to AT&T and grab one for yourself.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

      1. For me, if there’s a contract involved, it doesn’t matter what the price is.

        1. You can sell the refurbished unit for at least $450. It is still an excellent deal with a contract.

  7. I personally wouldn’t buy a refurb phone. Asurion refurb phones always have issues and need replacements in my case. It’s happened three times to me out of 5 claims

    1. I have purchased 13 refurbished S3 phones from ATT and they have all worked perfectly so far. Out of the 20ish total that I’ve bought the only one that has failed was a brand new one originally and the camera module went bad, will not even turn on. The refurbs are working out great, and they are worked pretty hard too. No complaints from us anyway!

  8. The S4 you buy new right out of the box are already refurbs.
