Android 4.3 kernel source released for HTC One Google Play edition

HTC kernel source code

For the few of you that might have purchased the HTC One Google Play edition (seriously, did anyone?), you might be happy to know that Android 4.3 is on its way. Alright, so that part we knew but we didn’t know was the exact timing on its release. Guess it’s coming pretty soon as HTC just finished posting the Android 4.3 kernel source for the HTC One Google Play edition onto HTCDev only moments ago.

We’ve been getting quite a few reports of general 4.3 weirdness that’s been afflicting some unlucky Nexus 4 owners, so lets hope HTC has all the bugs ironed out before it hits the HTC One GPe. In the meantime, I’ll just be here waiting for Android 4.2.2 to arrive on my regular HTC One. (Glares at AT&T HTC One still running Android 4.1.2).
