Motorola rides Independence Day wave as patriotic sign-up page for Moto X launches

moto x coming soon

Yesterday, we got our first taste of Motorola’s initial marketing approach for the Motorola Moto X, the first phone they’ve constructed with heavy influence from Google. The company touted the fact that it is being assembled entirely in the United States, a detail that should make any job seeker happy. Well, things are continuing today as the company has finally made a “coming soon” sign-up page for the device.

Before submitting your email address, Motorola goes on its spiel about its manufacturing efforts to keep job in its home country, quite the perfect angle considering tomorrow is America’s day of independence. Of course, this page doesn’t tell us anything else we didn’t already know about the Moto X — we just know it exists, it’s being manufactured in the United States, and that it’s on its way at some point this summer. Go ahead and sign up to be notified once more information is available.

Although like said, i can fully understand the motivation for people in the US.
      US
based companies telling people to buy products from those companies but
at the same time those companies have most of their jobs in Asia.

    1. Meh as a Dutch person i dont really care.
I can understand the motivation for the people in the US but for those outside the US it doesnt really matter if a product is made in the USA or China.
There is a lot of low quality crap thats made in China but also a lot of high quality items. Same for items made in the USA.
