t-mobile huawei prism 2

T-Mobile has just brought to market a very affordable smartphone for those looking to break into the scene for almost nothing. It’s the T-Mobile Prism 2, and it can be yours for just $20 down (with $4 installments for 24 months) or for $116 outright. The device isn’t going to set the world on fire with its 1GHz processor, 3.2 megapixel camera, and lack of HSPA+ radios, but it does have Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it is cheap. If you or someone you know are looking for a cheap taste of what the Android smartphone world has to offer give it a good look at T-Mobile’s website and place your order.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Is prism really the best name for a phone right now? Just saying….

    1. I was thinking the same thing but it looks like that this is the 2nd generation of this model..

    2. I think the phone is made by Huawei too. haha

  2. Nice name it reminds me of this Snowden character…

    1. you know maybe this is Just me but my paranoia doesn’t trigger because something has the same name

  3. How could someone write this article without commenting on the irony? Kudos to you WhoaManWtF…you should replace Quentyn.

  4. Well at least you know for sure the US Government will be listening in, it says it right off the bat as the name implies.

  5. Nobody should be bringing a new device with a single core processor o the market. They could probably issue the G2X for the same price by now…if only they could get Jellybean on it…

  6. This will be like using the G1. Using data on this phone is gonna suck and give Android a bad name.

    1. Using a 1Ghz phone will be like using a 528Mhz phone?

      1. I’m not talking about the processor speed. It is the speed of the data anything that needs fast data speeds is going to be like using the G1.

        1. Oh, I see what you mean.

  7. If this Phone can be unlocked in my country, It would totally be a good deal for me and other family members (:

  8. Man… bad naming choice timing!
