Sega’s Puzzle Pirates coming to Android tablets

3

Sega has announced that one of its “MMO” puzzle games is coming to the big screen, and by big screen I mean Android tablets, of course. It’s Puzzle Pirates, the game that lets you customize your own buccaneer and roam around the high seas for treasure, facing the dangers of the waters and other pirate crews on your way.

The game will feature over 20 interactive puzzles — it has that word in its title, after all — which allow you to do “piratey” things like partaking in sword fight battles or teaming up with hundreds of other crew members to conquer an island.

Alongside the familiar gameplay, the game’s controls have been updated and optimized for use on tablets. You can play the free-to-play game right now via Facebook, if you want, so head to Sega’s site to give it a try. If you like it, be sure to look out for the tablet release later this year. Read on for full press details.
