Pinterest redesign to be flanked with mobile app updates

1

Up and coming social network Pinterest is about to get even better as the company is set to bring its new design to all users starting this week. The new user interface was previewed starting in January, but wasn’t available to any and everyone. Pinterest’s new design will focus on making “Pinning” content easier, and will make it easier for you and your friends to show each other what’s important to you. It’ll come with a new recommendations engine that will deliver you content to pin based on your board and that of your friends’.

With that, an updated Android app (find Pinterest for Android in the Play Store) is also said to be in the works, though it’s not out just yet. The main focus of the update will be to add said recommendations feature, but it’s possible we could be getting more UI tweaks than that (not that the app isn’t already beautiful). We’ll be keeping an eye on the Google Play Store to see if it goes live, so refresh this page for an update every now and then to be kept in the loop.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.
