Early design sketches showcase development of the HTC One

3

The HTC One is currently facing some production issues, forcing a delay of the handset’s launch until the end of the month. That’s not stopping HTC’s hype train, however. The company recently posted a few early design sketched of the device to their Google+ page. Yes, in case you haven’t heard, HTC loves the design of their latest flagship.

The images don’t tell us much, but they do offer an interesting glimpse into the long, arduous process of developing a smartphone. Designers must take into consideration materials, machining processes, ergonomics, and internal hardware when hashing out a final concept. It’s an art form highlighted even more by these neat behind-the-scenes sketches.
