Did HTC CEO Peter Chou whip out a white M7 during press event? [PICS]

What do we have here? Seems HTC CEO Peter Chou may have gotten a little too excited at a recent year-end party, and while snapping pictures of his adoring fans from his smartphone, appears to have inadvertently revealed the white HTC M7 for all the world to see. We’ve heard rumors that HTC was planning a white/silver variant of the device and although it’s hard to tell from these blurry images, it seems Mr. Chou may have confirmed this.

Taking a look at the photos, we get a good fairly good look at the back of the device. What’s odd are the lines along the back hinting at either a removable battery cover (super unlikely), or at least a design not as unibody as recently leaked images of the M7. We wont have to wait much longer to find out what’s up. HTC is planning a press event for Feb. 19th in New York in which I’ll personally be on hand, giving you guys the latest on their newest flagship.

    1. Dang it i was gonna comment something like that. Well played sir.

    2. Lol Chinese men whipping something else out would be a shorter story…..

      1. he’s Taiwanese

        1. so a mm longer.

          1. has you beat!

        2. being Taiwanese would qualify him as being Chinese since Taiwan is a territory of China thanks for validating my comment…. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwan

          1. Taiwanese and Chinese are people’s ethnicity. Your ethnicity is factored in using your cultural background. It’s true that Chinese people moved to Taiwan, but Taiwanese people are heavily mixed, thus creating their own ethnicity.

If what you’re saying is true, then since Europeans came to America, everyone in America is European. My profile pictures proves this is obviously not true. LoL!!

Also, to be more cruel, China is just one province. It would be more accurate to say he’s Asian, not Chinese.

            OK. I’ll stop. =.P

          2. Bullshit, Taiwan is Taiwan, china is china, these two countries are under different culture level. People in china, just like you, are really poor and nonsense. How a miserable country with silly guys.

          3. You, china people, are impotent so always saying Taiwan is china.

        3. Taiwan is a Chinese province…
thanks for validating my comment… http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwan

    3. I set you guys up for that one.

    4. Hmmm, and I had thought it was a gun in his pocket…

      1. yeah because that would be relevant?

  3. Look close enough and it looks like a White one x. You can see the camera lens and surround, that and the fact that he yells htc one several times.

    1. Hard to see but the One X doesn’t round off on the back like that. Also, the One X has a silver protrusion for the camera — also known as the silver nipple — absent from this image.

    2. Peter Chou has already said the codename “M7”. So that should be the M7 which will be released on Feb 19th.

  4. it look nothing like the leaked pictures. look at the botton, there is a shadow at the bottom, which mean that area is curved.

    1. For real. The shape looks closer to the original Samsung Galaxy S on AT&T (Captivate). I don’t think this is the M7.

      1. I think all samsung’s device look like iPhone, how did you recognize?

        1. Are you serious?

        2. trollololoaaaaa

  5. I won’t buy any HTC product if it won’t have replaceable batteries as well as expandable memory.
