By A rumor earlier suggested Verizon would be pushing the in-store launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S3 back to July 12th, and now it appears those who ordered online may be in for an even longer delay.
Online customers are being given an estimated ship date of July 19th. This doesn’t necessarily mean folks will have to wait until then to get their devices, but nothing’s guaranteed until that date hits.
Verizon’s Galaxy S3 comes equipped with 4G LTE, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 processor, an 8 megapixel HD camera, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, a 4. inch HD AMOLED display, and more. Let us know if you’re in line for one of these when they hit the hot boxes this Thursday.
Wow the last carrier to get it in the entire world keeps getting more bad news. The Galaxy S4 will be out by the time Verizon gets this phone.

I heard the problem is with the 32 GB version. Samsung is backlogged on orders for it. I got this info after speaking with both T-Mobile and Verizon stores.
Verizon really doesnt want me to be their customer anymore.. first killing my unlimited data.. then locking the bootloader of the S3 and now more and more delays on a phone every other carrier already has.
Will they keep pushing this further?
If want the GSIII TODAY along with a reasonable priced plan you better go to Tmobile.
Might as well just buy a paperweight…because that’s about all you’ll have on Tmobile.
i dont think this is entirely true..maybe the people that preordered late will recieve their phones on a later date because my phone was shipped 3 days ago and is already on the truck to my house by tonight. (pre-orderd day 3)

Seems to me the order in which they are processing the pre-orders is completely random. I pre-ordered my S3 June 15 (when the ship date was 7/10/12), haven’t heard from Verizon re: ship date yet. My girlfriend ordered two weeks after me and hers arrived today. WTF?!

Don’t care now. As soon as I found out the boot loader was locked I stopped wanting this phone.
Yea, this is annoying and a BS move by VZW but you know someone is going to get around it.
Was so pumped for the GSIII, but then jellybean was announced. Cancelled my pre-order and bought a Galaxy Nexus off contract. Ill wait for the GS4, the Nexus will do me well for the next year or so.
Mine still says its supposed to ship on 7/11/12… Fingers crossed it actually does…

I’m pretty lucky. I pre-ordered one last Friday and it’s on the way. :)
Mine was going to ship to be here last Thursday but I didn’t have money in my account because I didn’t know it would ship early, now it was gonna be here today but fedex showed an exception and called me because incorrect address! Damn Verizon didn’t put my apartment number in the shipping info even though I verified with them and fedex! Tomorrow hopefully.
