Renaissance Blood THD Now Available – Shows Off The Power of Nvidia’s Tegra 3 Processor

6

We’ve been following Renaissance Blood THD since last November (back when it was still DaVinci THD), and it looks like it’s finally here, folks. Developed by Bridea and fresh off the Google Play Store, Renaissance Blood THD is the newest addition to the list of Tegra optimized titles found in the TegraZone. A bit different than what we were originally expecting, Renaissance Blood looks to be an on-rails first person shooter (FPS), similar to arcade classics of yesteryear like House of the Dead.

One look at the screenshots and and provided trailer, there’s no denying Renaissance Blood is a visual feast for the eyes. The game takes full advantage of Nvidia’s Tegra 3, firing on all 4 cylinders. Dynamic lighting, normal mapping, real-time physics and interactive objects all make the cut and deliver an experience like no other on a Tegra equipped device.

I’ll report back once I get a chance to fire it up on my tab. In the meantime, you can find Renaissance Blood THD right now in the Google Play Store for $4. Trailer below.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  1. I’m a bit confused. Are there more or less features than what we expected before from DaVinci THD? o.0

    1. Less. It’s not an MMOFPS like the PC version and you can’t actually control the movement. It’s on rails :/

      Looks pretty though! :p

      1. Thats my problem with Tablet games right there. I hate on-rails games, i dont care how pretty they are.

  2. This looks great man. My only concern is that on harder difficulties, you’ll die too fast to react. I would get the gaming controller just for this.

  3. Idk, the graphics are “passable” imo. Nice for a mobile device but as a gamer I just looks horrible. I’m still awaiting a game that makes me feel like tablets deserve to be sold in Gamestop.
