While the Huawei Ascend P1 was revealed this past January, there’s been very little to suggest it’s coming any time soon. A new FCC approval may have changed all that, however, as the device is now certified to be sold in the United States.
The 4.3 inch device is quite the slim wonder with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0, and more. We have on clue where exactly it’s headed carrier-wise, but someone, somewhere in North American is sure to pick this phone up. We just need a “when,” “who,” and a “how much” now. See the listing at the FCC. [via Electronista]
“We have on clue where exactly it’s headed carrier-wise, but someone, somewhere in North American is sure to pick this phone up.”
Hehehe, guess the typo in the quote above… ^_^
Quentyn has terrible grammer
on clue (should be no clue)
in North American (should be in North America)
This last one is semantic, but “someone” and “carrier-wise” refer to two different entities, and I don’t think the intended meaning was that someone is definitely going to acquire this phone by importing it.
I don’t know if what you typed made any sense to me, but it’s clear that the writer meant to say “We have no clue where exactly it’s headed carrier-wise…” rather than “We have on clue…” No big deal, just a simple typo.
T-Mobile would be my guess, GSM is likely the bands but doubt AT&T would carry it.
