While LG’s been keeping a bit quiet about their new Google TV line-up they introduced at CES, it seems it won’t be long before all the official details we’ll need come to light. LG’s announced that the new line will begin manufacturing May 17th and should be in-stores starting May 21st.
Equipped with LG’s own L9 chipsets, the TVs have not yet been priced. In fact, we still don’t have any size range to speak of. We’re sure those details will come to light before too long, though, so stick with us for a couple of weeks until we get this all figured out.
I hope these come with ICS, flash, netflix, huluplus, embedded amazon movie player, google play that can play movie rentals, and a faster browser that isn’t blocked by all the network sites. Of course an integration into cable/dish programming is always huge. It has to play content better than Roku.
