Deal: OG Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 for $299
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is no longer the high-end tablet that we loved and admired last year, but it definitely continues to be a good device. If you are not looking for the best of the best and want a solid Tegra 2 10.1-inch tablet, this deal might come as good news – It is going for only $299 from Walmart.
The device does happen to be refurbished, but it also comes with a 90-day warranty. It is not a full year, but this warranty timing has become standard for most refurbished products. The tablet comes with a 1 GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 1 GB of RAM and Android 3.2 Honeycomb. It should be getting Android 4.0 at some point, though.
For $300, you can probably find some fair options if you shop around. But the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a good reputation, and you may not want to risk it. If you want to pocket out an extra $100, though, you can go ahead and purchase the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. It is now available for pre-order, and should be available by next week. Or if you are a fan of smaller tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is now available for only $250.
