Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) priced at $309 in QVC’s online store

9

Towards the tail-end of last week an Office Depot page came online for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) with pricing included. A few days later the smaller Galaxy Tab 2 variant has had its price outed in a similar fashion. A landing page at QVC’s online store shows the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 with a price of $309.96. The figure seems right on the money considering the 10.1-inch model’s $400 price tag.

The Galaxy Tab 2 is expected to be delayed in order to ship the tablet with Android 4.0 out of the box, though QVC’s site appears to be taking orders. We’ll chalk that one up to a clerical error and wait for further word from Samsung.

  1. Once the Nexus Tablet by Google/ASUS comes out all of these 7 inches will be DOA.

    1. I heard google did a stellar job trying to sell their first phone online.

      1. ikr

    2. asus does amoled now?  they have exynos now? they have the R&D power of sammy now? oh okay, then “all” 7 inch tablets are doa

  2. Nice, but after the P6800 series, I don’t know. Then again, this is almost half the price.

  3.  QVC is a bit over the price considering they usually throw in some sort of extras with your product.

  4. Still overpriced. High end 7 inch tab should hit the $250 price point and they would sell in the multi millions.
I bought the touchpad at $99, an htc flyer at $199 and traded a phone for a galaxy tab 10.1
If google or asus can bring a 7″ tab in the $199/$250 range is going to be my next toy.

  5. but why 7 inch for a google nexus tablet?

  6. …not much cheaper than the 10.1…kind of ripoffish…
