AT&T has followed up on their promises of bringing 4G LTE to Bloomington, IN and Bryan-College Station in Texas and have set a launch date of April 8th. AT&T’s been at work building a nice library of LTE devices and more will continue to soar in at alarming rates. If you live in these areas and are waiting on upgrading or have already upgraded to an LTE phone circle the date on your calendar – it’ll be like waking up on Christmas morning. [AT&T 1, 2]

(You can assume I’m from Bloomington)

    1. do you have an lte phone?

      1. Why wouldn’t he? In Tulsa (which has no AT&T LTE) I know a number of people who own the skyrocket not just because it’s LTE but the giant screen, performance, and general awesomeness.

  2. Now if only other metro areas of Indy could get some 4G love. :/

  3. LTE isn’t as big of a deal for AT&T folk as they are still capped and their phones run at HSPA speeds which are a lot closer to LTE speeds than CDMA speeds.

  4. It’s an Atrix 4G, but it’s really HSUPA+. Here connection’s always decent, but in Indianapolis where there IS 4G, speed is fantastic.
