HTC DROID Incredible 4G/HD Hits the FCC?

18

Rumors are stirring about Verizon set to introduce a 4G and HD version of the HTC DROID Incredible. It’d be the third device in the series following the 3G single-core DROID Incredible 2. Originally codenamed Fireball, the DROID Incredible 4G/HD (a final name hasn’t been confirmed yet but it’s likely to be one of those two) seems to have made its way to the FCC.

Well, an HTC device with Verizon’s 4G LTE radio has. This could be anything, really, but considering how much more rampant rumors about the device have been as of late we’d say there’s a strong possibility that this is it.

Unfortunately, we still don’t have much to go on. We don’t have a photo, any solid specs to go on or even a rumored launch date. Just know that one of Verizon’s premier series of phones may soon get another addition. [Engadget]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

    1.  Don’t hold your breath

    2. Blah if HTC dint have that CPU taaxing sense interface I would of wanted that phone

      1. That’s why you root…  All a phone needs is good specs, who cares about the shitty UI that all these manufacturers put on it.

        1. I guess your right, that Sony Xperia s looks preety good also but I really like the form factor of the one x

  2. I’m confused. I thought HTC was going to release less phones and focus on the One series. So they are still releasing more models beyond the One series? If this is the the One series they should call it the Droid One X or something.

  3. My upgrade is in december so it will be a fight between the next nexus or a new htc heavyweight

    1. Lol I have an upgrade in December too hopefully the next nexus packs a good CPU/ gpu cause the galaxy nexus was sort of a let down other then carrying ICS on launch, and the amoled display

  4. Rezound 2, quad core, LTE, 4.5″ 1080P resolution, 550 ppi, 3 gig ram, 3ghz, 32 gig on board, 32 gig card, 4000 mAh battery…….

      1. You do too. We all do. But that would probably cost like, $1800. And still be outdated in a year. lolol

This Tablet PC to use more advantages than ordinary telephone or Tablet PC! Can be replaced by smart phone! And new products to market! Are favorable. Hot sales!

  5. You guys waiting for the next nexus on Verizon will be waiting a very long time. Big reds days with a nexus device won’t happen again. Google was displeased with Verizon to the point that they won’t get another shot at nexus greatness.

  6. Come on please be the One S or the One X. I would bet its not as I bet its to early to have a CDMA version of the One series ready for prime time. Too bad, I want a One S/X, Now. Not buying a new phone until I can have ONE.

  7. If it has a 4.5 HD display, LTE, S4 Snapdragon processor, ~2000mah battery, 1gb of ram, ICS, and I’m sold.

    1. same

  8. It doesn’t matter to me what kind of display they use. If it has the camera hardware image chip (image sense) then it would be capable of running sense 4.0, if not sense 3.6 is fine with me.
Bottom line, if it has the 1.5ghz dual core Snapdragon/Qualcomm S4 processor, removable battery & sd card slot *Please hTC* I’m on it!!!

  9. Could this be the ONE?
