Sony showed off their new Google TV Blu Ray players at CES this year and they looked quite stunning. Unfortunately we weren’t let in on the juicy details regarding its release date but we finally have someplace to start. The Verge has heard from Sony that they will be shipping the devices in the UK starting this summer. It isn’t known if other regions might get the devices sooner than that but we imagine the gap between releases won’t be big. Be sure to take a look at our hands-on impressions from CES to see if this might be the Google TV device for you whenever it does launch.
For the UK the coloured buttons at the bottom are in the wrong order (we have RGYB). Is YBRG standard in US?
I have a ps3 for blueray. Still one of the best players.
