Philips has unveiled a new media player that is Android-powered. It’s the GoGear Connect 3.5 and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread + Philips’ custom user interface. It supports 720p video playback and has support for their FullSound and Surround for Movies technologies to enhance music and video playback. No word on storage, processor type has been given. In fact, we don’t have a whole lot of information. We at least know it’ll be out in April 2012, though pricing is yet to be determined. We’ll be on the lookout for this device at CES 2012. Philips unveils award-winning, premium sound portfolio at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show
