Yesterday we held a caption contest. The subject photo? Busta Rhymes and the Bug Droid at the Google Music launch event. Take a look below:
There were so many submissions and we really had to dig deep for the one we liked the most, but Michael S. ended up being the winner with the following:
When Busta was asked how he felt about being a part of Google music, he chuckled and said “well I still haven’t figured out whether I should feel embarrassed that you geeks asked me to come down here or honored.”
We have nothing against geeks of course (we’re all a bunch of geeks here at Phandroid as well) but we thought it was a pretty accurate way to wrap up his career. HUGE props to Nikolay Ananiev, the developer of an app called Tiny Flashlight + LED, who donated the Samsung Galaxy Nexus for giveaway. His app has OVER 10 MILLION downloads and Nikolay contacted us asking for ways he could give back to the community as a way to say “thanks”.

Today’s Contest Rules/Regulations:
To stay within the fun “Google Music” theme we went with yesterday, we have a nice music-related challenge for today’s contest. We want to hear what kind of Android song you can come up with! This one will be tough.
Create a 2-4 minute song and video about Android. Its focus can be the OS itself, a certain phone, app or anything related to Android.
The genre can be whatever you see fit. Be creative, but also be courteous – no foul language or obscene imagery will go a long way toward your winning chances.
In the song, within the first 10-20 seconds, you must mention Phandroid.com and/or AndroidForums.com by name.
To enter your song/video, you must upload it as a video response to the YouTube video you see above (it’s Rob’s original Android Rap song from 2008 – you might want to give it a listen just for fun if you haven’t heard it!)
Entries will be accepted until 11:59pm Eastern time today. Anything after that will not be considered.
