The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S has eluded much of the world for some time now, but it appears the device will soon be getting released to retailers in unlocked SIM free form. The device has gotten a listing on Sony’s website, an indication that they’ll be ramping up marketing in more areas and that more carriers will be getting their hands on the device to offer it to their customers. It actually looks to be shipping today for $500, an indication that it’ll be shipping to Americans. Take a look ahead for more information on this particular model’s supported radios and hit the source link to get started. [Sony, Thanks Joe!]

I’ve always loved Sony Ericsson phones, but haven’t seen a US carrier with one in years. Will this work on T-mobile, I can’t remember the T-mobile data bands, but I think it needs 1700MHZ for some areas.
No 3G on Tmobile it looks like, needs the 1700 band, great job Sony…….
Sony Ericsson HD and I would jump on it .
I will keep my play..
Sony Ericsson are one of the best phones when it comes to media(camera, audio, etc). Wonder why they aren’t that popular here.
