Canadians Can Now Buy and Rent Movies in the Android Market

Google’s enabled movie buying and rentals in the Android market for those right above us. Mobile Syrup reports that they are able to rent and buy HD movies just like those of us in America have been able to do. We hate that it took so long, but progress is better than no progress. Let’s hope they get it rolled out to the rest of the globe before too long. Check it out in the Android market (you’ll need Froyo or better).

  3. Good on Google for making some progress on rolling out services internationally. Personally, I’m more excited about being able to buy books, so I hope that will come along soon, too.

  4. Someone told me that there is this continent called Europe, and that there is almost one gigantic country which this person called European Union – I wonder if Google heard something about it. Aaa, it’s probably a rumor and another stupid speculation not based on scientific data driven facts.

    1. Didn’t we just hear that Google Voice is in pre-launch testing in Europe? Maybe we could be happy about that for now?
