Verizon’s 4G-Enabled Slider by Samsung Pictured and Detailed

4

We’ve known for a bit that Verizon is bringing a slider to their network by Samsung and new details and photos of it have arrived. Firstly, it’s said to be very similar to the Samsung Epic 4G – keyboard, size, internals and all. You’ll get 2GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM, a 1GHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera, a front-facing camera and a 4-inch display which may or may not be Super AMOLED Plus. Verizon’s also throwing in their 4G LTE radio and it’ll come with Android 2.3.4.

This could be Verizon’s version of Sprint’s rumored Samsung Epic 4G 2, a follow-up to the original that offers little more than its predecessor. Even though it’s no Galaxy S II, it’s sure to be a great offering for fans of phones with keyboards. [Android Central 1|2]

  1. I think I found my phone.

  2. I think I’m with you Colin, no Pentile display, and 4G, it’s what the Droid 3 should have been.

Edit- looks like it’s a single core…boo. If they would have gone dual core I would have jumped on this. Now I’m a wait and see. Why can’t they make a “superphone” with a slider??

  3. What they said ^

  4. Will the bootloader be locked?
