Confirmed: Virgin’s New Beyond Talk Plans Due July 19th

8

It wasn’t too long ago that we heard from a trusted source about Virgin Mobile’s new forthcoming Beyond Talk plans. It was set to get about $10 more expensive for those of you not on the unlimited everything plan, while those on said plan would remain at $60. We were wrong, somewhat. Those on the first two tiers are still set to pay $35 and $45, respectively, but those on the unlimited everything tier will actually get $5 off, making it $55 for the privilege to do whatever you want whenever you want without having to worry about overages. And as we said before, it’s all going down July 19th – that’s the day before the Motorola Triumph’s launch.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Day of launch you mean?

    1. No, it launches on the 20th, as per the press release I’m reading. The 19th has only been rumored.

  2. Competition is good! If I didn’t have a company phone, it would be Boost, Virgin, that other one that I can’t remember the name of,,, or maybe still Sprint since the still have unlimited data.

  3. Also of note and stated in the press release, starting in October they’ll begin throttling speeds after a 2.5 gig cap has been reached.

    1. How do you throttle slow?. LOL

  4. Completely off topic here but am I the only one who’s reminded of Pringles every time the Virgin Mobile logo shows up?

    1. Wow. I didn’t think about it at first but I see it now. And now I’m hungry.

  5. Why is there no supporting link?
