7

Looking to get the DROID 3 for a family member? While the phone debuted for $199.99 on a two-year contract, you may be able to get it a bit cheaper. If you add a line and choose to purchase the Motorola DROID 3, Verizon’s willing to shave a cool $50 off of its price, making it $150 for admission. You know you want to take advantage – head over to Big Red’s portal to take care of that at once. [Droid-Life]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Of course to get people locked into those 2gb data plans.

  2. Oh Sweet, $50 bucks! Thanks Verizon! That’ll cover two weeks worth of data on your network! lol

  3. 2 Days too late Big Red

  4. I ordered mine on the 7th and it was $149.99, it was just a renewal. But it looks like I will not get it till Monday. = (

  5. Yeah, get those suckers to add a line and inadvertently “change” their plan in the process. Now they can get you into their even more exhorbitantly expensive data plans. Hurry verizon idiots and let them screw you one more time- but at least you can say you got a deal on your new droid

    1. Actually, if you already have the unlimited plan and you add a line, then only the new line will fall under the new cap structure. The previous line will remain the same, unlimited.

  6. Same here, I upgraded my wife’s crackberry and got the Droid 3 for $149.99, free overnight shipping too :-D Seems to be a solid phone so far
