Custom paint jobs for anything are always hard work, so even if there’s no intricate design involved I always tip my hat to those who customize their devices. One guy dropped his EVO 3D in a driveway and nicked the back of the device up pretty bad, so instead of going to eBay and getting another back cover, he decided to smooth the existing one down and apply some paint to it. Some white paint. And boy, it turned out great. It looks just as shiny and clean as the official EVO 4G did in white and I wouldn’t mind having him do my device for a nominal fee. If you have the guts to do it yourself, he’s posted full instructions over at XDA.
