A Third, Possibly 7-Inch, Sharp Galapagos Tablet Slinks through the FCC

0

It has been a while since we have seen or heard of the Galapagos line of tablets from Sharp. The devices were last seen earlier this year when a 5.5-inch and 10.8-inch model were revealed in an FCC filing. We caught a glimpse of what to expect a few days later at CES, but it looks like yet another Galapagos tablet could be on the way. Yes, the first two still haven’t arrived, but a new FCC filing suggests a 7-inch model is on the way to fill the gap left between the two models we already know of. Other than confirmation of 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, nothing else can be said about the EB-W71LJ-H on account of a confidentiality request. Needless to say, we are interested to see what Sharp has been up to refining these slates over the past six months.
