HTC DoubleShot (MyTouch 4G Slide) Visits the FCC

The HTC DoubleShot has had a quiet journey so far, but its next stop should be the beginning to an exciting run culminating with a release on T-Mobile as the MyTouch 4G Slide. It’s hit the FCC recently, and while it’s tough to peg a release date on that alone, it means we’re as close to a launch as we’re going to get. It’ll be any day now before T-Mobile officially outs this one, but we’ll be here to report it when they do. Check it out at the FCC for yourself. [via Wireless Goodness]

  2. Hopefully, Verizon can get their heads out of their A$$es, and get a CDMA version of this phone on their network. After their failure to offer any really decent keyboarded Androids this past year (Sprint got the Epic and EVO Shift, T-Mo has G2 and MyTouch Slide, VZW gets a warmed-over, locked-down Droid 2 with a disappointing “updated” keyboard), they owe their customers something like this.
