Seeeduino Gives You an Affordable ADK for Android Open Accessory Development

5

Didn’t want to shell out $400 for Google’s official Android Open Accessory ADK? Yea, we thought it was a bit steep, too. The folks at Seeed Studios, however, are looking to provide developers and engineers with a cheap ADK (price, can’t vouch for quality) as they’ll soon be offering the Seeeduino ADK board for $80. They say it’s 100% compatible with Google’s own ADK so it should be the first product to consider for developers on a tight budget. Pre-order yours at Seeed’s site now and expect it to ship on June 20th. Here’s hoping you folks create some awesome things using it! [Reddit]
