It’s been a long time coming – many of you have had to suffer through countless leaks with no end in sight – but one of those leaks mentioned a date and that date stuck. Rogers has officially let loose the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Xperia Arc as of today. Both devices can be had for the same price on a three year contract – $100. And if you don’t want to be tied to Rogers that long, you can grab it up for a cool $550. (I won’t even mention the one- and two-year deals as they’re not worth mentioning. Head over to Rogers’ site (Arc, Play) to order yours today.
I hope the Play is a hit. I’m sick of hearing how much better iOS is over Android for gaming.
Also, I thought the Play was supposed to have stock android. The images in this article suggest it doesn’t?
The play was suppose to run Sony’s OS. Where’d you hear that news at? LoL!!
Verizon!!!
Only the CDMA version going to Verizon is running stock. Everything else is running Sony’s OS.
The Play is running Stock with Sony Launcher and some widgets on top. They didn’t complete “SOny” skin it so updates could come quicker.
But yes Its mostly Stock 2.3
Fuck this shit. It’s out of date! Whoever buys this is a fucking fag!
You’re obviously not Richard, but you are a scum bag. I wish Phandroid could track your IP and ban you from this forum.
How’d they get the Play to be White? According to Steve Jobs that’s really hard. Sony must be really smart. Well, minus the security of the PSN. And when will these get to Verizon!
I hope the Arc comes to TMo along with a $99 + 2 yr contract price tag.
@ jmaxku. Stop your bitching fag. Go fuck your mom! Stupit cock fucker nigger! Lol.
Here’s to hoping your life is ended in some violent manner… cheers! No lolz here. I’m serious.
Wow whats going on here?
Your mom!
… and you get to watch @,@
Yeah! When will this thing make it across the pond!
Canada is ” across the pond ” . pinhead .
Sony Ericsson Arc very lame and suck the battery very fast. Quadrant Standard Benchmark Result; Motorola Droid X (OS Android 2.3.3 / GingerBread) have score 1582 and Sony Ericsson Arc (OS Android 2.3.2 / GingerBread) have score just 1350. Motorola Droid X is not Root and not Overclock yet.
